November-January Draft League (Division A)

I think I'm in trouble. While my PTA movies have performed admirably, my other movies (Wolf, Saving Mr Banks) have not given me anywhere near the amout of BO/Top 5s I'd have hoped.

With Ozzy (Division A) and UDM (Division B) dropping out, are we going to go with five people per division now?

Unless... someone else would like to join this league.... JohnErle? Geezer? Anyone else?

Geezer has offered to join this league, whereas JohnErle respectfully declined.


It looks like Chien is going to win Division A going away. The inclusion of duds like Ender's Game, Faust and Oldboy were more than made up for by having killers like Frozen, Lone Survivor and Ride Along.

Surfer, whose entire lineup managed only nine Top 5 points (compared to Chien's SEVENTY!!), will drop to Division B.

Meanwhile, it looks like Walleye will win Division B.

So the draft order for the February-April Draft League will be:

1. Shryke (4th place because Ozzy, who came in fifth place, will not be returning)
2. leestu (3rd place)
3. W (2nd place)
4. Chien (1st place)
5. Walleye (1st place in Div. B)


I'll send e-mails out once I have the pricing schemes finalized. Maybe we can start the draft as early as tomorrow. There's nothing else going on tomorrow, right???

Surely we can start drafting now. I mean, all the prices are up on the game site, so we have everything we need.

I want to wait for the final stats (or at least the estimates) to come in today to make sure I have the final standings, and therefore the draft order, correct.

I have plugged Sunday's estimates into my grid, and I am ready to call this league done. The numbers aren't final, because I am missing most of this week's PTA numbers, but the thing is, no matter how the points are allotted, it won't make any difference in the standings.

Here's how I have it:

1. Chien, 24 pts
2. W, 17 pts
3. Shryke, 13 pts
4. leestu, 12 pts
5. Ozzy, 10 pts
6. Surfer, 8 pts


Therefore, the draft order will be:

1. leestu
2. Shryke
3. W
4. Chien
5. Walleye

I will set up the draft threads and send e-mails to everyone that we're starting momentarily.
