While we await Shryke, I have to say I am really enjoying the strategical nature of this game. Compared to the full year draft where having TDKR on your slate doesn't force you to consider future picks and you have a serious advantage, this has been fascinating, and I reckon it will lead to a much tighter game. Having to use half your budget on one film and then sift through the rest of the field finding movies which will still be competitive while the rest of you can pick at least 3 movies with a value of $15 or more has proved challenging but exhilarating. It will be fun to see where everyone finishes, as I may well finish last despite my first pick, largely due to the constraints on my slate following my first pick.

Time to go cheap. I will take Killer Joe and hope that Friedkin's name still means something.

Thanks, Boussh, and glad to see I got my two first choices. Hopefully both should be valuable sources of PTA.

Well the latter is aimed towards the only Americans that actually care about Emily Blunt (the arthouse crowd, everyone else knows her as John Krasinski's wife) so despite being mumblecore, it should do okay.

Which reminds me, there was a girl in my math class last semester who looked almost exactly like Emily Blunt. On the last day of class, I actually talked to her and connected her to an old friend of mine who does fashion photography.

...most people don't even know John Krasinski's name, let alone who he's married to. Me, as a big fan of The (American) Office and (just as a member of this site) a bigger movie person than 99.9% of Americans had no clue he was married to her.

I could only name Five-Year Engagement and Adjustment Bureau

I'll take Pink Ribbons Inc. because something has to come in second place in PTA on opening weekend to Snow White, and I don't think the other three films will scare up much interest.

Now that's a bold move... although I see your point concerning the opening of the season. But I had never heard of that doc before...

Well, Battlefield America will get no PTA at all, and I can't see Rowdy Rathore getting any either. So even if Piranha 3D gets 2nd place, Pink Ribbons Inc. should get at least three.

That's even if Piranha 3DD still comes out. 2 weeks away and I haven't seen anything on it. Or it might get dumped into 300-500 theaters. Which wouldn't make sense, as the first one has fans.

The Weinstein Company will premiere Piranha 3-DD in limited release and VOD. Early reviews have been weak, which likely motivated this move.

Anyway, W takes Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry.

I'll take 360.
