I thought we were going back to eight picks and using the two-league system. Part of the reason why the previous league failed was the reduction to six picks.

And if you are mad by reminding you this, I'll enter the lower division and organize that draft.

Nope, sorry Busc. One league, 6 picks, 8 players.

Okay. But the February draft league will be two divisions. Top four players in this one form Division A, bottom four form Division B.

Sorry, I blew it. I will take Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1. I am really sorry I took so long.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (which would have been my pick no matter what).

You really would've taken Sherlock Holmes over Twilight??

December is way too crowded for Sherlock to get too many Top 5 or PTA points, and it's ceiling is probably $250M.
Whereas Twilight has no direct competition for weeks (since all the Thanksgiving movies are kiddie flicks this year) and is pretty much guaranteed to hit the standard Twilight figure of $300M.

A number of Twilight fans consider Breaking Dawn discontinuity and it's an even more "love it or hate it" book than the others. Meanwhile, the first Sherlock Holmes managed a $70 million opening against the mighty Avatar. This time, it's Sherlock's turn to dominate the competition.

I'm going to take a flyer on Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol and hope that it can a) beat Sherlock and Alvin on its OW and b) rack up the Top 5 points in the two weeks that follow it.

It should win PTA in the first week but probably won't open in first (it opens limited before going wide five days later).

I'll PM Chien, does anyone know his name on Facebook? I think I'm friends with him, but I'm not sure which RS person he is...

And I'm gonna wait awhile before picking to give him some time, especially since it's the first round.
