I thought I'd revisit this thread after recently watching Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel. It's a comedy through-and-through, but you can tell that the creators have spent many a (possibly drunken) night over-analyzing time travel stories. It has a very similar feel to Edgar Wright's first two films--mostly in the sense that the protagonists constantly comment on their own situation in reference to similar scenarios in popular media. It's kind of a "meta" approach to filmmaking, but it works. If you can track it down, I recommend it. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a great movie, but it's definitely an entertaining one. It's steaming on HBOgo, and those in the United Kingdom--and presumably(?) the rest of Europe--can get a physical copy for the standard price of a new DVD.
