5/5 stars.

Don't go in expecting the Host--this affair is much more straight-forward. That said, the director's distinct sense of humor occasionally finds its way into this (otherwise) serious film.

Without giving too much away, I honestly don't believe there is ANY way David Fincher had not watched this (multiple times) before filming Zodiac. And, for the record, that's a compliment--Zodiac was great.

Highly recommended. Can't wait for his other work: Mother and Barking Dogs Never Bite--both available on Netflix streaming 8/19.

I have the original one-sheet for Mother. Never saw it in the theatre though.
