Actually, I think Part III was an improvement from Part II. It returned to the fun atmosphere of the first film and downplayed the dark material of the second one (and besides, this was always meant to be a fun series).
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

Part 2 is far better than Part 3. 3 just felt like they ran out of ideas so they decided to make a Western and try to get away with genre references. It was more irreverent than fun.

Part 2 is fun, I mean it has hoverboards! Besides, the middle act is always going to be the darkest, and it managed to cleverly include the first film.

No joke, I wasthis close to asking the same. But I heeded (hed?) Shryke's advice.

Anyway, Back To The Future 3? Ugh, it's ok but just the greatness of the first two make it so much worse.
That was when he might have watched more than five percent of these films. I was legitimately wondering if he'd seen these films, which is possible if you look at, say Buscemi at that age. So, I asked about one of my all-time favorites and got an obvious "I've never seen it" answer, which just makes me want to ignore the kid from now on. You can be truthful and have a list that are REALLY your favorite films and you'll get flak for some of them, but everyone already did.

So, I'm done.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

"Trilogy" means a story with three parts (like Lord of the Rings). Harry Potter was in seven parts (over eight films). Not sure what the word for that would be... "octrilogy", maybe?
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)
