This is great, thanks Tranny. Have to say, when it comes to awards our Best Picture list beats most others.

Awesome, thanks for this tranny. I was just wondering what other movies we had voted Best Picture in previous years, I would definitely say over the past few years we are definitely getting a little more indie, no big blockbuster winners since 2011!

And I just realised I have been running this for a decade now! Man, I remember those days back in 2008, barely married, no kids and no responsibilities. Yikes, how time flies!!

Really tough call as there are a handful of those that are among my absolute favorites, but I'm going to have to go with Whiplash.

Although I might just prefer Arrival or Moonrise Kingdom as films, I think The Dark Knight is a hugely important film that happens to be both great and successful.

I would probably go with Arrival, but I4d probably have to see its rewatch factor. The Dark Knight has such a great rewatchability, it might be the one.

Nice one Tranny!

I echo six. And this gives me much more reason to input next time!

And, UDMs correct: Thee No.1 of that is TDK

And i would like to nominate a new subject? Maybe? I dunno, spitballin here, but what about something akin to best breakthrough performance (these are my fav type awards), like: Best comeback performance or best return to form performance. Best cast is good also, however: id like clarification on the criteria of that award cause i always feel the best cast is in other films.

How about best art work for title? Best Hero/Villian? And ofc, what about we glorify, induct certain film people in our own hall of fame. Like for example, id have to nominate Paddy Chayefsky for a writers nomination to the RS HoF

Out of our Best Pictures, the one I feel the most strongly about would have to be Her. Although The Dark Knight and Arrival would be right up there.

Still haven't seen Moonrise Kingdom.

I need to rewatch Her. Bet it's even more relevant than before.
