Re: Future Tracking From Exhibitors
You're going to stay away from the latest live action Ninja Turtles because "they look creepy?" Wow. I guess growing up on the Ninja Turtles has a different meaning where you're from. The last time Bay took a beloved children's franchise to the big screen in a shiny action movie, we all know what h...

Re: Future Tracking From Exhibitors
TMNT is going to break 100. Not with those freaks Michael Bay is showcasing. I don't care if they're more technically correct, no one wants to see that. http://www.joblo.com/newsimages1/TMNT-image-4-8.jpg It might not seem like a big deal but it really is... I grew up on the Turtles on the right as...

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 6/6
Holy Fuck...Fault did 8.2M last night according to reports. The numbers are a little scewed based on some pricey $25 packages that happened, but still...should be a huge weekend for it. Edge did 1.8 which is better than Oblivion You know Fault is going to be super front-loaded at the outset but tha...

Re: A New Site
I will give them this... it's definitely user-friendly, and uncomplicated, something our site should strive to be. You agree, Spectre? Absolutely. Some of the graphics could be sharper (and we could help with that) but in terms of layout, you're dead on. It's super simple, straightforward and user-...

Re: The Latest Date Changes 2: The New Batch
Spongebob 2 is kicking up a week from 2/13/15 to 2/6/15 (not sure why, looked like a good place for some counter-programming to 50 Shades and Poltergeist).
Also, Paramount is re-releasing Forrest Gump on IMAX on 9/5/14.

Re: Season 9 - Weekend 22
Been meaning to get back into this so even though the contest is super far along, I can use the practice. 1. Maleficent - $31.0m - UNDER 2. Edge Of Tomorrow - $29.0m - UNDER 3. The Fault In Our Stars - $23.5m - OVER (as in over double this #) 4. X-Men: Days of Future Past - $19.0m - UNDER 5. A Milli...

Okay, Spectre, you got Scouts V Zombies. Damn you for taking advantage of the Friday the 13th switcharoo. I hope it bombs for you! Haha it very well could :P. Wide release horror comedies have recently gone either around $30M+ or in the teens. Obviously I'm hoping for the former but who knows at th...

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 6/6
I think Fault takes #1 and ends up being way bigger than tracking indicates... it's not the type of film I'm usually bullish on but I think it's going to be huge for its target demos.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
First of all, you rock empire! If there's anything we can do to help let us know. I dabble in amateur Photoshop so I might be able to help create graphics if we ever get to that point. Secondly, we'd get the pants sued off of us if we tried to use "Fantasy Moguls" because the parent company itself s...

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 5/30
I think its too early to judge that X-Men won't stick. You are right when you say it is coming off an inflated holiday weekend, and starting next week the competition gets much less stiff. Edge of Tomorrow is going to bomb, HARD. I think that its drops will be much more reasonable until Transformer...

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 5/30
The drop isn't all that surprising for X-Men coming off an inflated holiday weekend but it's definitely not going to have great legs. One of these summer movies has to stick at some point, right?

If it goes through I'll probably drop The Cobbler. Not feeling as much Sandler confidence after Blended and I'm not sure how wide it'll even go.

I guess I'll put in a bid for Scouts vs. Zombies. Been going back and forth about it.
