Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Snow White and Apes were solid picks for R2 & 3. And Rohirrim is a pick with great potential.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
My next pick is the easiest I made so far. I know some fear the slap thing may bring backlash to Smith BO magic, but I'm sure Bad Boys Ride or Die will have strong numbers nonetheless. The calendar is light in competition for it in June. We don't talk much about it right now but I'm sure it can brin...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I may pick it just a tad too soon, but who knows what double Six will bet on. There are safer options on the table, but I feel that this could be the big four-quadrant holiday film of the season, with the reteaming of the director and star of Jumanji. Even if I would have prefered another studio at ...

I never thought Beetlejuice and Garfield would go in the first round.

Indeed, that's one hell of a cast.
Do you have a way of reaching UDM, Tranny ? I have him on Instagram, although I don't know how often he's there, and I must be able to find an old email that must be at least 10 years old.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Same here, I was actually about to pick Mufasa and changed at the last second to Despicable Me, but I thought it would be the next film to go. That's a great catch so late in round 1.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I had a bad draft last year, too many films moved, and my instincts were bad.
I'm gonna secure a safe option for round 1, and draft Despicable Me 4. It's got July 4 all to itself, and should play well all along July and August. You can never bet against the Minions.

Here we go, boys, it’s that time of the year again ! I will officialize the final results of the 2023-24 draft league when this weekend’s final numbers come in, but the rankings are already set, as this weekend’s results won’t change our standings, so we’re good to go for this new season ! We’ll be ...

Re: 2023-24 Full Year Slates - The Shryke Draft
I can run it again this year, no problem. I reached out to Ron this week, as I think he's the only one that wasn't here lately to say if he was up for it. I told him we'd start on sunday, and he answered, he's good to go.

Standings (up until April 21) And then there was only one week to go. And if the numbers will change a bit, everyone’s rankings will stay the same when the season will officially be over in a week, as the only question mark that remained was the battle between Banks and Walleye for 4th place, but d...

Re: Screening The Releases - April 19th
Selling international rights is the norm. Because indie distribs that don't belong to a studio are not distributors outside the US. They simply cannot distribute films in foreign countries. Otherwise, every American film would be distributed in every country in the world, and that's not the case. A ...
