Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - THE FILMS OF 12/18
I think Avatar can pull 60 mill. The buzz is pretty crazy and the unexpected Golden Globe nomination and good review could add its to box office totals.

Re: Golden Globe Awards Announced
This is the most shocked i am ever been reading a list of nominations in my entire life. I am very happy overall with the nominations. Some definite head-scratchers (Avatar for Best Picture, Sandra Bullock for The Proposal, others) but i am very excited to see Inglorious Basterds nominated for Best ...

Re: September - November Draft League
Congrats W you had a great slate. I am surprised i didn't finish in dead last even with New Moon due to the weakness of the rest of my slate.

Re: 2010
I don't understand all the hate for Legion. Maybe it's because I saw the long red band trailer before seeing the bastardized green band trailer that everyone else has seen (which deletes nearly every money shot and good line). Sony dropped the ball by not running the red band trailer in theatres (s...

The Goods 7.5/10
Pretty Funny. The movie is carried by Jeremey Piven and Ving Rhames who are both very funny in their respective roles. Overall an enjoyable comedy that is worth watching.

I am very unsure about Invictus and its box office possibllites. Freeman is getting applauded for his performance and i am sure it will be good but box office wise its a complete mystery.
I hope The Lovely Bones is the PTA juggernaut that I think it will be.

Re: The NFL Thread
I think AP and Chris Johnson are about even. Johnson is more explosive and a better playmaker but Peterson is better-desicion maker and his power is unmatched. On to the Titans they are very impressive right now. They might make the playoffs. I dont know they were lucky to pull out that victory last...
