Just read through the entire ceremony. Great stuff as always. Thanks for putting it together, Stuart. And thanks to everyone involved. Good times.

But it felt like a somber version of The Way Way Back... which I suppose isn't necessarily a bad thing on paper, though I cou...

Re: Rate That Movie Part IV: Movies Never Sleep

Did anyone here think "Joe" with Nic Cage was good? I have a lot of respect for the taste around here, and I'm wondering if someone can convince me that it wasn't terrible...?

I am on the edge of my seat. That said, I've put on a little weight and this chair is particularly narrow.

Hahaha! That list of titles is awesome--if TellTale manages to use this deal to adapt ANY of them, I'm on board.

Re: What are you playing RIGHT NOW... or close to now?

What are some other Lionsgate franchises? I'll drop TellTale a line and spearhead a really annoying movement to campaign that they develop our favorite movie(s) into games.

Guys, help a brutha out. Buy the book, write reviews on every site you can, give it a good rating, and share a link with your friends on FB or twitter. It's the Shrykester, after all!

Re: Reel Society of Film Critics Awards 2015 - The Master Li

Glad Frank is on the Master List. Really good movie. The titular character is interesting: reminiscent of Roky Erickson, Daniel Johnston, and/or Syd Barrett (despite Syd himself being referenced in the movie in a somewhat confusing manner). Great acting. I'm really liking Scoot McNairy (at least sin...

Re: Reel Society of Film Critics Awards 2015 - The Master Li

I think Birdman and Boyhood should be top priority for everybody. I still haven't seen the latter, but I'll make the time. Does anyone know if we have it available on Vudu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, or anywhere else? I might need to hit up Banks again about that Google Drive stuff.

I actually thought that first segment (where a female columnist confronts a troll) was a bit of a snooze... but the third segment (about a webcam set up to watch a birds' nest and the ensuing internet phenomenon that g...
