Re: Screening The Releases - April 19th
While I'm no Hollywood insider, I'm fairly confident that David Leitch wasn't named the shadow CEO of Universal because their releasing 1 movie he directed and 1 movie he produced over the next 9 months and will not have any say in what kind of movies they elect to make moving forward.

Re: Trailer: Trap
I would never even consider defending David Zaslav. He's the biggest anti-art bozo CEO in Hollywood right now. I simply stated that there were several high-profile creatives who clearly weren't bothered by WB's shelving of finished films for tax breaks since they signed on to do movies with them sin...

Re: The Latest Date Changes 2: The New Batch
Honestly the reception isn't nearly as bad many feared, so it should be fine-especially since whatever it makes during the US run is just gravy for Universal.

Terrific premise and the strong possibility of it all going sideways. We could be looking at a new Shyamalan classic folks.

Re: Screening The Releases - April 12th
That's not happening anywhere in these parts. Even if it performed poorly there, pulling the reigning box office champ for a movie that's been out for over a month and didn't even report box office last weekend is a bizarre move.

Re: The Latest Date Changes 2: The New Batch
Yeah, Borderlands, The Fire Inside and/or Cuckoo is definitely moving. Harold and the Purple Crayon is the only wide release currently on the 2nd, so one of them will likely move there.
