Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Sorry man, I blew it. I honestly didn't even think to look at my email last night. I won't repeat this mistake again if you require my services later in the draft. No problems, dude, hope it's okay if I send you a list before I hit the sack either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how the draft goe...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

I was originally going to pick Borderlands over Wolfs, so it's a good choice regardless. I think I panicked because of its proximity to Deadpool & Wolverine

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Hey guys I emailed my list to Tranny but I guess he didn't see it?

Anyway. My picks are...

Wolfs

And

Michael

First one is Pitt and Clooney, so should do solid numbers.

Latter is a risk, but could do Elvis numbers.

Well my entire queue just got picked in a row so I'm in slight panic mode... thanks for nothing you guys :D

There's still a handful of interesting options out there but I'll take a gamble and go with Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1.
Chien, my friend, I am so, so sorry.

Obviously, Six paid someone in Hollywood to diss Red One just to piss me off the day after I drafted it.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Woah, that's a major surprise. I have a gut feeling this film will do well, but what a ballsy move to take it at this point.

Then again, we've an insane Frenchman who thinks it's okay to draft Red One in Round Two, so anything goes at this point.

Next Banks will be taking I Saw the TV Glow

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Sorry guys. I went to bed really early to catch up on sleep. Going to pick.. Snow White And Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes The latter is a relatively safe bet, and even with all the complaints and anti-woke whining, The Little Mermaid still delivered solid numbers. So Snow White should do fine

Re: Most Anticipated Movies of Summer 2024

I have to say, Bad Boys For Life is one of the worst films I've seen in the last few years. Silly, poorly directed action, and Smith and Lawrence say the film's title every second scene.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

I will choose Minecraft , which may end up being a disaster, but the game is iconic enough in my age demographic that I think it should gross Five Nights At Freddy's numbers at least. Really wanted this one. This make Super Mario numbers... with ease. Biggest game in the world. The only concern is ...

Seen and Liked: Evil Does Not Exist Maybes: Furiosa, Robot Dreams, Didi, The Fire Inside, My Old Ass, Babes 10: Alien: Romulus I know, it's going to suck. Damn my nostalgic love for this utterly ruined franchise, just take my money and stop laughing. 9: Tuesday Produced by a colleague of mine, and I...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

IF and Garfield are very ballsy picks. On paper Garfield could be a hit, but I'm not convinced it will break through like Sonic or Mario, because Garfield isn't a video game with recent iterations. IF is a total wildcard. A Quiet Place: Day One is a great pick. The first two were loved and performed...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Surprised Mufasa took this long to go. I was weighing that up against Deadpool 3. The last Lion King was massive, and despite Disney's weakening, I still think this will be the family film of Christmas. $300m is a cert. Moana is a sensible pick. Should do well across Thanksgiving and hold strong. I ...
