I don't understand the hate for Margot At The Wedding. Well my main problem is that the film was just terribly boring. The dialog was not amusing and the characters were stale, lifeless almost. This has nothing to do with my taste in pace either as there are plenty of slow, methodical films I enjoy...

I liked Squid and the Whale and did not like Greenberg. I hated Margot at the Wedding.

I saw Love and Other Drugs the other day. Funny and pretty good overall but some fatal flaws. Very good work put in by Anne Hathaway and Jake G. Will blog about it soon.

The NFL has been like that for a while now, hence the phrase any given sunday. The gmen are playing excellent defense and Hakeem Nicks looks like a top 10 WR in the league. They are know for playing down to their opponents though so let's see what they do against Detroit this week.

Geezer looking at your blog as a Giants fan. Gotta love this one... I gotta agree with numbersix. The score in Buried was overdone and distracting. Sounded like a rehased Bernard Herrman score done for a Hitchcock film. Speaking of annoying scores I also did not like Giacchino's work on Let Me In.

John Ortiz you mean. He is good friends with Hoffman and is quite a solid actor himself. He was in Public Enemies and Pride and Glory.

I don't think Brothers is as bad as you say. Not exactly good but not terrible. Two sub pars movies does not mean a director is finished. He still has something left in the tank I think (and hope).

I have not seen Amelia but from what I have heard it was an undeniably awful. Conviction at least got some decent reviews out of Toronto. There is no way it will have a score similar to Amelia.

Jim Sheridan's next movie Dream House sounds pretty interesting and has a good cast.

Why do you all think Conviction will get such awful reviews? I have heard some reviews calling it mediocre but not bad. Not 45% on RT bad.

Yeah I am sure it's a bot. I am going to see if we can find a way to prevent these accounts from being made and then also remove all the current bots on the members list.

I just got back from Social Network. An excellent film containing the greatest dialog since Pulp Fiction. I also firmly believe a best actor nod is warranted for Jessie Eisenberg's portrayal even if Zuckerberg is probably not as cold as he is represented.
