Re: The Latest Date Changes 2: The New Batch

It looks like something will be opening wide on May 31st. Lionsgate has scheduled the Diane Keaton/Kathy Bates/Alfre Woodard/Eugene Levy comedy Summer Camp for then and I'd be surprised if it was a limited opener.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Between the multiple delays and backlash over the trailer, I could see Borderlands being one of the bombs of the summer. It might not even hit $25 million. As for Wolfs, I have a hard time with the title. It wouldn't surprise me if Apple renamed it like they did Project Artemis (though I think that ...

At six in the morning, I'd expect Six at our door.

This hangs over Chien's bed, always reminding him of what he was destined to do. https://assets-prd.ignimgs.com/2023/06/19/fyybldfaaambxsg-1687201253291.jpg?fit=bounds&width=1280&height=720&dpr=2 On a related note, has Ariana DeBose ever been in a hit? She's been in a bunch of things since her Oscar...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Had DreamWorks put The Wild Robot in November, it would hit $150 million, maybe even $200 million. But in September, it could struggle to hit $100 million.

Which is too bad as it's got a great trailer.

Re: The Latest Date Changes 2: The New Batch

It looks like Force of Nature: The Dry 2 will be getting at least a semi-wide debut on May 10th. I remember the first one doing reasonably well in my area.

Some chariots have spikes coming out from the wheels. Others unleash very slippery piss from a giant water bottle in the back.

I'm guessing this will be the yearly awards title from Orion.

Voss is boss for those who don't like to cross. And to be fair, it does look a lot of easier to use than an Aquafina bottle.

And I have to imagine the Knuckles miniseries is doing pretty well.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Twisters looks like a flop to me. The director has never worked on a project this big, Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones don't seem like they can hold a candle to Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, the script is by a career hack, and the trailer makes it seem like the main character is based more on Jonas ...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE

Walleye, Barbie, Oppenheimer, and Sound of Freedom weren't that original. One was based on a toy, one was an adaptation of a biography, and the third was (sort of but was more likely to be the ramblings of a egomaniac who loves Chris Kyle and his lies) based on a true story. As for Dracula adaptatio...
