I got real Skinamarink vibes from the trailer. Also, I just don't get the whole "gore = scary" belief so many connected to horror have.

Terrifier 3, depending on if chains will pick up an unrated movie again, could hit $15-20 million, maybe more if they move it closer to Christmas. Not too big on Cineverse opening a Christmas movie before Halloween.

I saw that In a Violent Nature trailer before Infested and my first thought was "this is a real movie?". It makes Sasquatch Sunset look like a four-quadrant blockbuster.

They Listen With Love sounds like a forthcoming James Bond movie.

I think The Fall Guy fails to hit $100 million. The reviews might be there and the leads are longtime members of the Hollywood "in crowd" but industry movies rarely do well. Mel's been trying to get one made for years. Apparently, he's now got a US distributor (Samuel Goldwyn, who also has domestic distribution rights to much of the Icon library, including the original Passion) and is putting up the money to finance two sequels.

I just found out that Resurrection is going to be the first of two movies. Not even the Bible is safe from being split up into multiple movies (though to be fair, Christ's resurrection is covered across several books of the Bible and probably couldn't be told in two hours like The Passion was).

That Summer Camp pick is ballsy, as the ad campaign only just started. I'm thinking more Miracle Club than Book Club.
